Home is a very special place;
A haven in a storm;
Always welcoming you back,
Comfortable and warm.

The door is always open,
A crackling fire is here.
You can always be sure
You're safe from harm and fear.

It need not be fancy
Just four walls will do;
A place you can hang your hat;
Be it old or be it new.

Many times I've wandered,
Been gone a very long time;
But I'm happiest when I return
To this home of mine.

No matter where you wander;
Wherever you may roam;
It's true........what they say,
"There is no place like home."
